Saw that a new shop had opened on Park Road. Town end near the old Beales store so I thought I’d pop in on Tuesday to see exactly what it was all about.
Sabrina has been open for 6 weeks now, she tried to open a while ago but found she just wasn’t quite ready, but now she is and is waiting for all you sweet fans to go and see her.
The shop sells lots of brightly coloured sweets which you’ll find around the shop in large glass jars. You can really go to town and do a ‘pick and mix’ of any flavours, shapes and sizes. All sweets are just 99p per 100g. You can take them away or eat them there as there are a few tables for you to sit at.
She also serves up, ‘cafe style’, bagel sandwiches which I have to say look delicious – filled with tuna mayo, Indian Tikka chicken, cheese and coleslaw, BLT, avocado & egg, even turkey, bacon and egg, or sweet ones like Nutella or strawberry biscoff! So whether you’re looking for a late breakfast or a light lunch – this could be the place for you. She also serves up iced coffees, smoothies and milkshakes. Later this year she will also be adding pannin and baked potatoes to the cafe menu.
As well as her shop she provides a service for anyone doing a party of an event with a sweet cart provision, candy floss maker (also coming soon to the shop) popcorn maker. She’s certainly spreading her wings. Pop in and take a look.
