It’s all go this weekend as the final Christmas Lights Switch on commences this morning at Peterborough Queensgate. It’s set to be an extravaganzer of shows for you the public.
I’ve already taken a sneak inside the grotto to see what’s in store and it’s a delight of toys for the boys and girls who visit.. Santa’s not there yet, but will be later today. So it all starts off with a parade of toys.. nutcracker soldiers, fairies, elves, angels and bell boys. It’s a grand parade for everyone down the escalator to Santa’s Grotto. The mischief begins as the Mr Shifter’s try to get everyone in place and (earlier than expectected) the show and flights go on at 10.40am.
Around Queensgate you’ll find the wandering characters for photo opportunities as well as selfie-boards and the Game Show where you can win some great prizes every hour…
