Popped in to see Peter & Amy today who opened the new _thecoffeehive_ at Fletton just as the lockdown came about… what bad luck, however, they are now open and you can get coffees, teas and a few treats like brownies or chocolates too.
Loving the bee design that was created by Peter and painted on by Street Arts Hire Ltd… fits the shape perfectly. This triangular hub can be found on Fletton Avenue and is open every day from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
They’re serving up some great products too. First up is the Jute Coffee beans giving you blends for espresso, cappuccino and latte in full strength or decaf all hand roasted and ethically sourced. (Jute goes to huge lengths to make their coffee zero waste AND the sponsor bee hives in mental health facilites) as well as serving up Joe’s Tea Co. offering organic tea from London. Both of these have been given the ‘Great Taste Awards’ for 2019. If you’re looking to drink vegan it’s easy here too with their vegan milks. 😊
There is chocolate to be had from a local supplier which really does look tempting from the Cocoa Cave with bars, buttons and boxes.
Peter’s love of coffee was the idea behind creating this new small business and the reasons why he has chosen these particular brands is because of his tastes and wanting to give great tasting drinks to the public.
