Decorating A Tree For Local Charity
The We Love Peterborough Christmas Tree has been sponsored with funds from ourselves going towards Nene Park’s Ferry Meadows upkeep. Trees are available to purchase by anyone with a donation of £80 to Nene Park Trust.
In 2018 we created some wooden painted baubles that you could purchase with any colour and either your name, family names or business name on the front. All monies from this went to our nominated charity.
Following up in 2019 we created the baubles again, this time all red (and sparkling) to match our brand colours. Again you could have your name or business name added to the tree, raising extra money for a local charity.
Both years were really popular with money going to great causes in Peterborough. We’d like to thank anyone who donated and we hope you enjoyed seeing your baubles going on the tree!

You become a BAUBLE STAR when you get your child’s name, your name or your business’s name on our charity tree for Christmas. It will be promoted on Facebook and covered in our Christmas Tree videolog. Baubles are great for a PRE-CHRISTMAS TREAT and also a way of enticing your CHILDREN TO BE GOOD as Santa’s ‘good’ children baubles!
Why not repost your bauble on social #WLPxmas. You are quite welcome to collect your bauble if you want to keep it, but please do this AFTER BOXING DAY. The tree will be cleared generally by 1st January. Please note that we cannot guarantee that… a) if it’s still there… just in case some little squirrel has been and taken it! and b) if it’s still in the lovely condition it was when it was created (we have to advise that these are painted and varnished wooden baubles, however the rain and weather over this time may beat them up a bit so we can’t guarantee their state on collection. 🙂
