It’s not quite ready yet… but here is a #FIRSTLOOK at Bijou Peterborough and wow it looks lovely.
Outside seating in the sunshine, through the doors and the bar will be ready to serve you underneath a canopy of beautiful pink blossom. Upstairs and you’ll enter the mezzanine- the ‘Snug’ filled with plush yellow & blue velvet chairs. A cosy beautifully decorated area which can be booked for private hire for up to 20 people. Then downstairs into the cavern where all the live entertainment will be happening… dj, music, comedy nights, there’s even a baby grand piano!!!
They are going to have so much to offer- a selection of the highest quality Coffee, Cocktails, Wines, Drinks, Tapas and Music. You’ll be able to sit back and relax with the sounds for chilling out with Soul, Blues, Funk, R&B and Tropical House during the day… and then a mix of Live Jazz, Soul, Acoustic, Funk and R&B bands and artists plus an array of Live DJs during weekend evenings and their Basement Sessions with the last Saturday of the month being their Glamour nights which will give you a party atmosphere and a dancefloor!
Following that they’ve got some great events like their Smooth Nights every 2nd Friday with a DJ and some classic RnB sounds, an After Work Club where you can enjoy discounted cocktails and beers, their Wednesday night Cinema Club is free entry, you just need to book seats, with popcorn & candy floss on their pick’n’mix menu brought to you by their waitresses & their Jongleurs Comedy club which is the first Friday of the month, so it’s set to be an all round entertainment venue downstairs in their basement which holds up to 60.
