Sarah the manager and owner of Glo Golf Peterborough welcomed us with her staff into the freshly opened business (today). A local Peterborough family and business opening up an independent idea of glowing crazy golf.
Where did this mixed idea cone from? A night out with friends playing a game together and thought… ‘do you know what- Peterborough needs this!’ And 3 years later if ideas and planning… here it is:
With scorecard and fluorescent pencil in hand we were off…. Fluorescent orange and yellow light the way to follow on the whole course round with a mix of astronauts, meteors and aliens to get round. There are 15 holes with a mixture of quirky difficulties, some where you have the chance of a hole in one! Yes I did… whoop whoop!! … never mind the one where I took 7 goes! There will be lockers at a later date, they’re just not here yet.
The artwork in here is fabulous and nothing like you’ve seen or will see anywhere else. Great job Steve!
It’s open to families in the day, over 18s after 8pm as there’s a bar area so after winning the game it was a glass of Prosecco for me and a beer for ‘H’.
After the game you can have a drink, something to eat: hotdogs, snacks, donuts, ice cream tubs for adults and kids.
The game is £8.50 per person for 18plus, 5-17 year olds £6.50 under 4s free. All booking is online with instant payment.
